We know that most of the time, the purpose of dating is to do it long term. You want to be with who you love for as long as time allows, but we also know that what we want isn’t always what we get. Sometimes, relationships fail to meet desired expectations. The reasons for this differ, but they’re never far from these…
COUPLE GET CARRIED AWAY
When a relationship starts, things are very great. The excitement is there, and all seem to go well, but then, after a few months, in some cases, the couple get saturated with their work and business, and forget to give some attention to the relationship they’re in. Over time, feelings will fade, and that automatically spells the end of the relationship.
LOSS OF UNDERSTANDING
Well, like I mentioned before, the excitement that greets a new relationship makes it easier for things to smoothen between couples, because nobody wants to lose the other in that relationship, but after a while, when partners would have gotten used to each other, they take each other for granted, respect wanes, and things go awry.
SELFISHNESS
Selfishness is the start of a lot of issues couples face in their relationship. Selfishness is the reason a person would cheat on their partner, and it is the reason you would put your own feelings ahead of that of your partner’s. Selfishness is a huge problem, and those who cannot keep it to a minimum suffer their relationship for it.
Relationships breaking up or getting sour after a great start doesn’t go beyond these most of the times.
